Verityn is a news app that picks and summarises stories from other publishers using AI. We don't write original news. All articles come from established newsrooms and news agencies. We help you understand what's happening and why it might matter to you.
Nothing in Verityn is advice of any kind — financial, legal, tax, or medical. The "why it matters" lines are AI-written interpretations. They show one way a news event might relate to your work or location. They're not expert analysis. They might be incomplete or wrong.
Always talk to a qualified professional before making important decisions. Verityn isn't liable for decisions you make based on what you read in the app.
Verityn uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to write summaries and briefings. AI can make mistakes — including getting facts wrong or making things up. We do our best to ground everything in the source articles, but we can't guarantee accuracy.
When accuracy matters, always tap through to read the original article from the source.
We show headlines, summaries, and links from publicly available RSS feeds and news APIs. The original content belongs to the publishers. We don't copy full articles — we link to the source so publishers get the traffic and credit.
We don't guarantee that third-party news content is accurate, complete, or timely.
The Verityn name, design, and original content are ours. The "why it matters" lines and briefing summaries are generated by our systems. Don't reproduce or redistribute them without permission.
News headlines and articles belong to their publishers.
If you turn on notifications, we'll send you one morning briefing per day. No marketing notifications. Turn them off anytime in Settings or your phone's settings.
Verityn is provided "as is." We can't promise it'll always be available. We might change, pause, or shut down features at any time. We'll try to give you a heads up when we make big changes.
To the extent the law allows, Verityn isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages from using the app — including financial losses or decisions made based on what you read here. Our total liability won't exceed what you paid for the app in the last 12 months (or €10 if it was free).
These terms follow German law. Disputes go to the courts in Germany, unless consumer protection law in your country says otherwise.
We might update these terms. If we make big changes, we'll let you know through the app. Keep using the app after a change and that counts as accepting the new terms.
